Are you sure it's the same Jerry Gordon who jocked at WMEX?  Last I knew
he was at WKIS Orlando, though admittedly that was several years ago. 
More significantly, he never did news through most of his career...he
played music and eventually worked into talk.  What was he doing from
Vegas?  A news voicer?
